My verdict: the one departure from Positano on this site, well rated but on a much thinner sample than the other tours carrying the same score. Drinks are included, which is a real difference on a hot crossing and a small one against the price. Book it because you are in Positano and do not want to relocate, which is the honest reason most people book it.

What the price is really buying

€172 is the highest per-person figure on this site — the €399 private boat is a group price, not a seat — and it does not buy a longer day or a better boat than the Sorrento crossings. It buys a departure from Positano. If you are staying on the Amalfi Coast, that is worth paying for, because the alternative is moving yourself to Sorrento first and the coast road is not a thing you do casually in August.
